A forested mountain (845 m) in the Svatoborská Vrchovina highlands in the foothills of the Šumava mountains. It lies to the west of Sušice and is the striking landmark of the whole district. A tourist chalet with a view tower of a height of 26 metres and a transmiter are situated on its summit. The far-reaching circular view which the hill offers stretches as far as the zone of the Šumava border hills, Klatovy, Kašperk and Sušice, lying below Svatobor.
